When I go to an SCA event, I take along a box of bands, both belts and trim, to sell. These are a few of the sale bands from over the years. Some are inkle woven; some are tablet woven.
What are these generally woven with? These look nice and thick. Ive been using crochet thread size 3 and size 10. These look thicker then what I get with the size 3 thread. They are all beautiful.
The yarns I used for these bands were Drops Alaska, Drops Karisma and King Cole Merino Blend 4-ply. They're 100% wool and have a range of colours that I like working in.
